The Southport Oak Island Kiwanis Club was chartered as one of 7,700 clubs in 80 countries in 1994. Our motto is "Improving the world, one child and one community at a time".

Touch the lives of thousands of children through programs, tutoring, mentoring, academic recongition, career counseling, leadership development, character building, nutrition, foster care support, and health care.
Drive more than 28,000 miles and deliver more than 10,000 hot meals to home-bound seniors each year.
Are workinng through the Kiwanis Eliminate Project to "eliminate" Maternal and Neo-Natal Tetanas (NMT)" to save thousands of lives among mothers and their babies in developing counries.
Were named by the Brunswick County Board of Education to the North Carolina School Borads Association 2013 Business & Nonprofit Honor Roll.
Were recognized by Kiwanis Internationa as a "Distinguished Club" for the 15th consecutive year in 2015.
